The group members regularly update their social media profiles with the status of their pets. The girls clearly enjoy animals, as each member has several pets, and they’re all very well taken care of. Here is a list of the pets owned by each member, let us know your favorite one!
1. Jennie - 2 pets
Jennie currently has two dogs: Kuma and Kai! As a wealthy idol, she loves to spoil them, and she also enjoyed going out to the aquarium or zoo, like during a recent trip to Dallas, five weeks ago. Kuma (dog, Pomeranian): Kuma is a cute brown Pomeranian, who got his name from the Japanese word “kuma”, meaning “bear”. He’s really close with JiSoo’s dog, and his favorite dishes are sweet potato and dried pollack! As you can see above, he’s also a fashionista as he appeared on the cover of Vogue Korea with his owner! Kai (dog, Cocker Spaniel): Kai is a shy dog, living with Jennie’s family. He’s older than Kuma, and is relatively quiet compared to the Pomeranian. As Jennie’s first pet, he holds a special place in her heart. You can find more pics of Jennie and her dogs on her Instagram.
2. JiSoo - 1 pet
Like Jennie, JiSoo spoils a lot her only pet: a dog! She also frequently goes to aquariums and enjoys some time with the other BLACKPINK members’ pets, including Lisa’s cat and Rosé’s dog! She even shared a kiss with a dolphin, a real pet lover.
A post shared by JISOO🤍 (@sooyaaa__) Dalgom (dog, Maltese): Dalgom is JiSoo’s only pet, whom she adores! Even though he’s known to be a calm dog, he actually frequently barks at Lisa. JiSoo suffers from sleep paralysis, and having Dalgom near her makes her feel safer, which eases her sleep. Fun fact: Dior sent Dalgom a custom bag with his name embroidered on it. 3. Rosé - 2 pets
Rosé truly loves animals, and she possesses quite some unique ones: fish! She enjoys showing her pets and some tricks she taught them. During the tragic fires that devastated Australia two years ago, she even made an Instagram publication to encourage people to help save her home country when people and animals were dying from the fire.

She adopted him from a shelter, and was malnourished after being abandoned, even having a skin disease. Now that he’s living with Rosé, his health is better than ever, and he loves spending time with other dogs. She brings him sometimes in the backstage at her shows. Joohwang (fish, Blood Parrot Cichlid): Joohwang is her cute fish, who appeared in the TV shows “Amazing Saturday” and “We Will Channel You”. His name come from the Korean word “Joohwang” meaning “orange”, as a reminder of his skin color. She taught him tricks: he follows her hand, and when she put it in the water, Joohwang caresses it! Sometimes, Rosé’s sister gives updates about him. Rosé raised two other fish, Eunbyul and Eunhee, and two dogs, Tobi and Max, but they sadly passed away. 4. Lisa - 6 pets
Lisa is definitively the cat lover among BLACKPINK, she raises not one, not two, but at least five of them in Korea! However, she recently adopted a dog, and joined the dog lovers community. The particularity of Lisa’s pets? Most of them were baptized by Rosé, and all of their names start with the letter L! Luca (cat, Ragdoll): born in June 2018, he has a kitten, Lily, which Lisa also raises. Leo (cat, Schottish Fold): Leo is JiSoo’s dog Dalgom friend, a very active cat! However, he also likes to bite people who try to touch him. Lily (cat, Ragdoll): Luca’s kitten, the only female among BLACKPINK’s pets. She’s known to be quite bold and enjoys spending time with Luca. Louis (cat, British Shorthair): Louis is known for his blue eyes, and he was introduced during one of Lisa’s VLive with Rosé. She decided to raise him so that Leo wouldn’t be lonely. Lego (cat, British Shorthair): Her last cat Lego joined her family in 2021! In Thailand, Lego reached the top 10 on Twitter when Lisa introduced him on Instagram. Love (dog, Doberman Pinscher): The only dog raised by Lisa, a loyal, confident, and intelligent breed.
